Madison Bridges - DVD

World-renowned National Geographic photographer Robert Kincaid and Iowa housewife Francesca Johnson didn't expect their lives to turn upside down. Both have reached a point where they no longer expect anything great from life and yet, just four days after meeting, they will fear for their newfound love.
Academy Award winners Meryl Streep (who earned her tenth Oscar nomination for this performance) and Clint Eastwood (who also produced and directed the film) lent the characters in Robert James Waller's rhapsodic bestseller about love, choice and its consequences searing star quality and incredible conviction. "Streep and Eastwood are so visually and spiritually accurate, they seem to have stepped right out of the pages of the book," Entertainment Weekly declares. The smallest details and big emotions of this love of a lifetime are just as accurate. If we are lucky, sooner or later a similar love will meet some of us. It was later for Roberto and Francesca. And it was beautiful.
