Madonna: Ray of Light

LP Record Madonna has a long history of releasing albums that have wowed fans and critics alike, but when she released RAY OF LIGHT in 1998, what surprised her most was how much she had reinvented herself musically. This wasn't always the plan – the original sessions for her seventh album were led by Babyface and Patrick Leonard – but after those efforts proved unsatisfying for Madonna, she hired William Orbit instead. His production techniques resulted in an LP unlike anything she had ever released before. And yes, we mean that in a good way.
