Man on Fire (book edition) - DVD

John Creasy (Denzel Washington) is hired as a bodyguard by the 12-year-old daughter of a Mexican magnate. Although he is a famous drunk, the family decides to entrust him with the protection of his daughter Pita.
Although Creasy is not interested in the work of the security guards and not at all in the protection of the little girl, the knowledge that he has nothing better will make him accept this task. He slowly becomes her friend and begins to train her in swimming and help her learn history. A major turning point occurs when Pita is abducted. Creasy did what he could, but he couldn' t save her. He shot dead four men, two of whom were corrupt police officers, which put Creasy in serious trouble. He is determined to take revenge on anyone who had anything to do with Pita' s abduction. The editor of the local newspaper helps him a lot with this. But it' s not that simple and a few pieces of information come to the surface that will turn the whole story up a few more times.
