Marešová Iva: I wish the storm came - CD

Singer, lyricist, and composer Iva Marešová, owner of a rich, colourful alto with a wide range, is releasing her second album after almost nine years. The album features a distinctive and unified lyrical narrative and uncompromisingly raw musical arrangements for the songs, which are based predominantly on the sound of the phenomenal Belarusian accordionist Aliaksandr Yasinski's accordion and the singer's authentic expression. This offers listeners a completely unique musical dialogue that is entirely unparalleled on the domestic scene, which is also joined by the excellent guitarist Michael Vašíček. In a novel way, they expose Slavic musical roots as you have never heard them before. The cherry on top of the album is a duet between Iva Marešová and Lucie Bílá. You will want to experience the thrilling feeling of listening to it over and over again.
