Marysha - DVD

Vávra, a rich miller, applies for the hand of Maryša Lízalová. She, however, loves the cottager's son, Franck. Her parents, however, would rather see Vávra by her side, even though he is a rude and insensitive man. When Francek has to enlist, his sweetheart is left alone and tries to resist the pressure of her parents. After some time, however, she succumbs and marries Vávra. The neighbour, who lied to her that Francek had found another girl, is also to blame. However, this is not true. When Francek returns from the war, Marysha is unhappy. He regrets his mistake and longs for his beloved. He decides to resort to a last resort.
