Continuation of the cult sci-fi.

Mankind continues to suffer in the bondage of virtual reality, from which it can be freed only by prophecy foretold by the Chosen One. In the second part, the modern savior Neo ( Keanu Reeves ) has to face new adversaries - they are the Twins, ruthless killers, in fact deadly viruses that move through the Matrix and can change it and subordinate their will just like Neo. In addition to them, Agent Smith, who has separated from the Matrix and is now pursuing Nea on his own, also goes after the chosen one' s neck.
Meanwhile, Trinity and Morpheus are trying to save a mysterious key that can open every door in the Matrix and is an important weapon of humans in the fight against machines. Even among the robots, there is a struggle for dominance over virtual reality, while at the same time trying to discover the last human city of Zion, hidden in the depths of the Earth. All events lead to a great war of people against machines.
