McCartney Paul: Pure McCartney / Deluxe / (2016) (4x CD) - CD

Paul McCartney is releasing his most extensive compilation to date!

If someone is without exaggeration considered one of the greatest living music legends, then certainly a musician and a quarter of the unforgettable The Beatles - Paul McCartney . The seventy-three-year-old musician from Liverpool does not lose his breath even after more than five decades in show business and now also brings his most extensive collection of hits to date.

The mentioned compilation maps all the solo works of this great musician, starting with his debut in 1970, despite its most successful period in the 1980s to the cover song My Valentine from 2012, of the song Hope For The Future from 2014, which was intended for the needs of a well-known video game, or last year' s remix of the duet Say Say Say , which he once filmed with Michael Jackson .

At the same time, the collection does not forget his work with the band Wings or the experimental project Fireman, with which McCartney introduced himself in 2008. “I and my team were united by the idea that we could make a collection of my recordings. We didn' t have anything else but to make the others enjoy listening to it, “ the singer himself states the address of the compilation and adds: “Maybe someone will enjoy it during a long drive, or in the evening at home or at a party with friends? So we put our heads together and came up with different lists from different periods of my long and winding career. ”

And that Paul and his team did a great job is indicated by the amount of material that the Pure McCartney compilation will offer. The title, for which many songs have been freshly remastered, will be available on 2CD, 4CD set and also on four vinyls . The thinnest version will contain thirty-nine songs , which will include, for example, the hits Ebony And Ivory , Live And Let Die , Say Say Say, Maybe I' m Amazed, Mull Of Kintyre or The World Tonight . The more extensive four-disc edition with a total of 67 songs will also offer Jenny Wren, Fine Line, Wanderlust, New, Dance Tonight or We All Stand Together .
