MCH Band: 1982-1989 (Limited edition) (6x CD) - CD

To celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary of MCH BAND, a special box has been released containing the complete output of the group from its formation in 1982 until the end of totalitarianism, i.e. until 1989. During these eight years, Mikoláš Chadima's band released six full-length shows on cassettes (and some pieces abroad on LPs) with cheerless titles inspired by the era and George Orwell's novel The Eighty-Four.

Most of the recordings were made in private home studios, which at that time already had decent equipment, some of the recordings are live. The box with "collected writings" of MCH BAND tries to give a comprehensive picture of the band's work, and it is not an exception that the listener will find here things not yet published, such as e.g. for the complete album "Feeling Fine in 1984Well", or. on one disc you will find first the studio version of the album and then the same played live (the premiere release of the live Krokodlak).

The box contains 6 CDs with the titles "Krokodlak (1982)", "We are well and doing well (1983)", "Feeling Fine in 1984Well (1984)", "198Four Well? (1985)", "Gorleben (1986)" and "Es Reut mich f. (1988-9)". All the recordings have been remastered from the original master tapes, adding minutes that were missing from the tapes due to their length, but also, in some cases, entire tracks.

The edition is limited and numbered edition of 1000 pcs. In the box the listener will find 6 CDs in digipack packaging and a 34-page booklet in Czech and English with all lyrics, band line-up, guests, technical data, photos and accompanying words.
