MDA RIDE organizes a charity event for patients suffering from incurable muscular dystrophy at the Prague Exhibition Grounds. The event will bring together more than 250 motorcycles, 30 Ford Mustangs and 30 historic vehicles. Bands will perform on stage and sponsors will hand out financial donations. The benefit event ends with a fun ride through Prague with the participation of disabled children and accompanied by the Police of the Czech Republic. Proceeds are donated directly to the parents of disabled children.

How MDA RIDE helps patients with muscular dystrophy
Throughout the year, it meets with organizations that bring together disabled patients. The culmination of the year-round activities of the MDA RIDE association is the organization of a meeting of motorists with disabled children with the aim of obtaining funding for medical aids and assistance services. The all-day charity event ends with a fun ride through Prague with the participation of disabled children.
What to get for the funds obtained
Proceeds from the sponsor ° and small donors are donated by the association directly to the Association of Parents of Disabled Children. On the basis of personal contracts with disabled patients, aids such as breathing apparatus, wheelchairs, assistance services, deck chairs, mattresses and other medical devices are purchased.
What is an incurable disease of muscular dystrophy
Muscular dystrophy is a genetic disease that reduces the strength in the muscles and there is a gradual loss of muscle mass. Includes more than 20 specific genetic defects. The first symptoms of the disease begin to appear at the age of about three years. The disease gradually weakens the skeletal muscles of the limbs and torso. At the age of adolescence around the age of 13, the respiratory and cardiac muscles are also affected. Muscular dystrophy is an insidious disease that is currently still an incurable disease.

O MDA RIDE
MDA RIDE is a company of people who have decided to volunteer to help people with muscular dysfunction, following the example of American Love Ride. In addition to the financial assistance itself, MDA RIDE also focuses on educational activities and brings the population of muscular dystrophy to life closer. Part of the activities of the MDA RIDE charity is also cultural activities, where a number of artists and athletes who support this idea will present themselves on the stage during the charity event.
Guarantor of the organization
Josef “Káďa“ Kadeřábek is the founder and chairman of the charity MDA RIDE, which is the largest motorcycle charity event in Central Europe. He devoted most of his life to the idea of helping disabled children. Kada also collaborated on the book Duchenne Riders or My Life with Muscular Dystrophy. He wrote a book of questions and answers without taboo together with two boys suffering from muscular dystrophy, whom he had the opportunity to observe from an early age.
