Me in Myself

Já v sobě (I in Myself) is the author's second published book, in which the boundary between the author himself and his alter ego gradually disappears. The texts work with identity and its literary stylisation as a variable construct, oscillating between cool detachment and intimate confession. Já v sobě is not only a poetry collection about an alter ego but also a record of the gradual transformation of identity and the search for the inner child beneath layers of masks and social roles. An alter ego can function as a certain boundary, but can this boundary disappear completely? And what remains if it actually does?
