In a happy suburban neighborhood, surrounded by a white picket fence and flowering rose bushes, stands a black house with a dead lawn. Unbeknownst to the neighbors, there is a huge secret hiding place deep beneath this house. And here we find Gru surrounded by an army of his sly and mischievous minions, an outcast who is planning the biggest robbery in the history of the globe. Gru is about to steal the Moon (yes, the Moon! ).
Gru enjoys everything bad. Armed with his arsenal of Reducing Rays, Freezing Rays - Freezers and amphibious combat vehicles, he defeats everything that stands in his way. And all this until he encounters the unwavering conviction of three little orphaned girls, who look at him and see in him something that no one else has seen before: possible dad.
