Medical physiology

The publication is a modern textbook of one of the basic fields of medicine. After nine years, it has been completely revised and updated in virtually all its parts.

This detailed and didactically refined textbook, rich in images, will be used not only by undergraduate students but also by doctors in pre-testing training who will be looking for information on physiological processes in the body. Extremely valuable is the large range of pictorial documentation, in the vast majority in colour – The book contains 530 figures and diagrams and 45 tables.

The publication continues a long tradition and follows a series of repeatedly published textbooks by the authors' collective of the Institute of Physiology of the 1st Faculty of Medicine of Charles University. There is no similar domestic textbook of similar scope and quality on the Czech book market at present and it is basically the only modern textbook that fully corresponds to the syllabus of medical physiology at Czech medical faculties.
