Meeting at the Opera

The marriage of Simone's parents was associated with scandal, kidnapping and antagonising the rest of the family. Even after twenty years, all wrongs are not forgotten. The adult Simona ignores the hostility and asks her mother's sister for help before the forced marriage. Parisian society at the end of the nineteenth century is strictly conventional, but Simone breaks all conventions when she breaks into a stranger's house incognito to get information about her fiancé. But everything turns out differently than she planned.
