Memories of flying machines

We will go back to the early years of the 20th century and together we will visit the aviation days and weeks in Europe and especially in France, which was then the undoubted centre of aviation development. We will watch exciting competitions with an unrepeatable atmosphere, we will witness several important long-distance races that were to prove the future use of aircraft as a means of transport. At a time when it was far from certain whether aeroplanes, steerable balloons or airships would dominate the air seas. Nearly a million curious visitors came to the first ever aviation week in Reims in 1909. We will witness not only stories with triumphant endings and shouts of glory, but also tragic stories in which brave men in flying machines have paid the ultimate price.
