Merlin: Nevada (30th Anniversary Remaster) - CD

The album in remastered form is released on the 30th anniversary of its creation. Officially, it was originally released under the title Merlin - Danny Horyna, but over time, the fans adopted the name of one of the hits - Nevada. The band had already recorded it a little earlier on Petr Janda's compilation Rockmap. She recorded her debut album at the same place, Janda's studio Propast, in 1991. "We had time, sometimes they shot at night, creating a form as raw as the concert, and yet enriched with subtle elements, who have non-violently coloured the compositions into a studio form, " recalls Dan Horyna, singer and co-author of almost his entire repertoire, in a sleevenote for the anniversary release of the album.

The band Merlin was founded by singer Dan Horyna and guitarist Marek Podskalsky in 1988 as a challenge to the then established metal bands. They were a bit ahead of their time with their work influenced by American guitar rock'n'roll and bluesrock. The name Merlin was coined by Ales Brichta. Within a year she composed a basic repertoire, with which she soon began to sell out big concerts and was working towards her debut album.
