Merry Misery - DVD

The film tells the story of two young authors trying to promote a new operetta, but without success. One day, however, it falls into the hands of the submissive Marja, who is enthralled by it.

However, no one knows who the author of the work is. The only clue is the invitation to the cabaret, which is based in the score. Marja decides to visit the place, but fails. He will therefore publish a song from the operetta on the radio and wait to see if its authors come forward. This comedy was one of the most popular films of its time.

The popular soprano singer Jarmila Kšírová in the role of Marja contributed to this, the young authors of the operetta were played by Antonín Novotný and Jiří Vondrovič, and the beautiful Hana Vítová will be seen as a cabaret singer. The film features the popular songs Love Opens the Gates, We Are Only Once in the World, Kiss Behind Bars and Life Goes Around, which are still played today.
