Metallica: Reload - CD

“ReLoad“ is Metallica' s seventh album released in 1997.
It consists of material that the band created while recording the album Load. Metallica originally hoped for the release of the double album Load & ReLoad, but for various reasons, this idea did not materialize.

The front of the cover has a similar theme as the album Load and in many songs there are clear signs of blues-rock, the songs are darker than on Load.

The author of the cover is the photographer Andres Serrano, who used his own urine and cow' s blood in the photo. It is also the last studio album featuring bassist Jason Newsted; left the group in 2001.

Metallica was founded in 1981 by drummer Lars Ulrich together with guitarist / singer James Hetfield, and in more than thirty years of existence it has become one of the most influential and commercially successful bands. She has sold over 110 million albums, played in front of millions of fans, and was the first to perform on all seven continents in less than a year, entering the Guinness Book of Records . This happened in 2013, when the first and so far last band played in Antarctica. Metallica has received several Grammy and MTV Video Music Awards, has become the third best-selling performer since the beginning of sales monitoring, has been inducted into the Rock' n' roll Hall of Fame and, along with Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax , The big four trashmetal.
