Metallica: S& M (2x CD) - CD

“WITH& M ”is Metallica' s ninth album, recorded live during two performances on April 21 and 22, 1999 with the“ San Francisco Symphony.

The name of the album is actually a game with words. “S“ as “symphonic“ is created from an inverted treble clef and “M“ as “Metallica“ is created from the band' s original logo. WITH& M is also a well-known abbreviation for sadism and masochism. Some fans think that the title of the album may be a tribute to a song with such a name from the band Thin Lizzy, one of those who influenced Metallica.
