Milan Lasica, Bratislava Hot Serenaders: When Time Stopped (2011) - CD

Milan Lasica (* February 3, 1940 Zvolen) is a Slovak humorist, playwright, prose writer, lyricist, actor, director, moderator and singer.

Milan Lasica recorded his lifelong dream with a recording. He wanted to record the famous American hits in Slovak for a very long time, and now he has finally succeeded. He joined the Bratislava Hot Serenaders Orchestra for the third time. All 15 lyrics on this CD are written by Milan Lasica. Not only are they unique in their content, but Lasica, as one of the few in Slovakia, can perfectly preserve American diction in the Slovak text. So the mega-successful Blue Moon became the song Je spln, On The Sunny Side Of The Street changed to Slnečné kúpele, or Dream A Little Dream Of Me to Sleeping.
