Miles Davis: Kind Of Blue Ltd Num Dlx

LP Record Miles Davis' Kind of Blue is one of the most influential jazz albums of all time. The album was released in 1959 and features Davis on trumpet alongside John Coltrane, Cannonball Adderley, Bill Evans, and Wynton Kelly. The album was recorded in a single session, with the musicians improvising over sketches of melodies provided by Davis. The album's influence can be heard in the work of later jazz musicians, as well as in other genres of music. Kind of Blue is often cited as the first jazz album to feature modal jazz, a style of jazz that avoids chord progressions in favour of melodies based on scales.
