Military Toxicology

The publication deals with highly poisonous warfare agents and agents of special effect (e.g. psychologically incapacitating). It provides a basic overview of all the properties of military-grade agents, their mechanisms of action on humans, and clinical-laboratory diagnosis of intoxication. It discusses prophylaxis and therapy of intoxications, including specific antidotes in pre-medical and medical care. It is intended for doctors of military and non-military schools and staff of the integrated rescue system of the Czech Republic.
