Mišík Vladimír & ETC.: Ztracený podzim - CD

Vladimír Mišík & ETC. are back with their eleventh studio album. The album is entitled 'Ztracený podzim' (Lost Autumn), after the song of the same name based on a poem by Emil Bok. The album contains 13 tracks, with Vladimír Mišík being the primary songwriter. The music for the song 'Páteční Cajun' (Friday Cajun) was composed by Jiří Veselý. The entire ETC band (Jiří Veselý, Pavel Skála, Petr Pokorný, Jiří Zelenka, Vladimír Pavlíček) worked on the album's arrangements. The final sound of the album was also significantly influenced by the production trio Veselý - Skála - Zelenka, as well as the sound engineer Tomáš Jakl, who recorded the album, Lukáš Martinek, who mixed it, and Vladimír Pecha, who handled the final mastering.
A number of guests also feature on the album - Jaroslav Olin Nejezchleba on cello and Pavel Bohatý on vocals. Furthermore, a brass section (František Kop - tenor sax, Jiří Hanzlík - baritone sax, Pavel Herzog - trumpet, Martin Líska - trombone) and Vladimír Pecha on programming. The lyrics come from several authors - in addition to Vladimír Mišík, there are lyrics by Josef Kainar, František Gellner, Marek Eben, Jiří Dědeček, Vlasta Třešňák, and the aforementioned Emil Bok. The songs oscillate from country, through cajun, to genuine rock. However, they are all united by Vladimír Mišík's unmistakable signature style and his feel for lyrics.
