Fog in August - DVD

Based on a true story.

Southern Germany, 1940. Thirteen-year-old orphan Ernst Loss is a rebellious and uncooperative boy, and all the foster families and correctional facilities he has been through so far have labelled him as beyond reform. Because of this, he finds himself in a psychiatric sanatorium. Ernst soon realises that the children in this sanatorium are not being treated, but are being secretly and systematically killed under the leadership of Dr. Veithausen (Sebastian Koch) as part of the Nazi programme codenamed T4. Ernst decides to fight his fate. He begins to help the other patients while planning his own escape, which puts him in mortal danger, because the decision of 'who is next' rests solely with the sanatorium's management….
