Mňága and Žďorp: Three-legged dog - CD

Třínohý pes (Three-Legged Dog) features ten new songs from Mňága, recorded at Sono studio in Prague and produced by Milan Cimfe. Initial enthusiastic feedback suggests that the band has found a fresh sound with their new drummer, Marcel Gabriel. The album features guest appearances from singer Nikola Mucha, keyboardist Milan Nytra (from the band Buty), banjoist, violinist and autoharp player Fanda Holý, and singers Tereza Černochová, Matěj Ruppert, and Roman Holý (from Monkey Business).

Mňága a Žďorp, a band from Valašské Meziříčí, is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. They first gained public recognition with their debut album Made in Valmez, which became one of the most iconic albums of the nineties, and with songs like Hodinový hotel (Hourly Hotel), Písnička pro tebe (A Song for You), Nejlíp jim bylo (They Were at Their Best), and Spaste svoje duše (Save Your Souls). To date, they have released twelve studio albums, the most recent being Made in China, which was recorded in Beijing in 2014. The group has performed in the USA, China, Belgium, Romania, Germany, England, and Hungary. A film about the band, Mňága - Happyend, was directed by Petr Zelenka. The band's lead singer, Petr Fiala, has released two solo albums and several books.
