Modeler - DVD

Something is in the air!

A psychological story about two friends who run a drone company…

Cameraman Plech shoots footage with drones. When his navigator gets injured, he has to look for a replacement and remembers his old high school classmate, Pavel, a former aircraft model designer. Over the years, Pavel studied chemistry, worked in pharmaceuticals in Israel, and has now returned to the Czech Republic after a personal tragedy. Plech's offer intrigues him, and he becomes completely obsessed with drones. For both classmates, drones gradually become not only a decent source of income but also a ticket to other worlds – they monitor a presidential candidate's rallies, wind farms, a luxury handbag fashion show, and film the happenings of protesting artists.

While the materialistic Plech dreams of wealth and a great future for the company, the idealistic Pavel sees only fraud and lies all around him. When he can't satisfy his desire for justice in any other way, he decides to use a drone as a tool to fix the world and use this toy as it was originally intended: as a weapon. When Plech understands his friend's plan, he is horrified.
