Monk DVD

DVD Film - The cast: Vincent Cassel. Satan only has as much power as we give him. This narrative French historical film is an adaptation of Matthew Lewis' classic 1796 novel, which describes the personal downfall of a charismatic preacher. Director Dominik Moll has created a visually impressive drama that deals with the theme of not only religious fanaticism, but above all the inability to resist carnal temptation despite one's own faith. The film stands out above all for its beautifully photographed setting and especially for the performances of Vincent Cassel as the brother Ambrosio and Déborah François as Matilde.
