Ever since Mike Wazowski was just a little monster, he dreamed of becoming a successful scarer. And everyone knows that the best scarers come from Monsters University.
But during his very first semester at university, Mike's plans start to fall apart when his path crosses with the top scarer James P. Sullivan, known as Sulley, who's a natural talent. The pair's life at university and in their halls gets a little out of control, and their competitive spirit gets them kicked out of the university's elite scare programme.
And to make matters even worse, Mike and Sulley realise they'll have to work together if they want to put things right.
