Motörhead: On Parole (Remastered 1997) - CD

“On Parole“ is the first studio recording by the English band Motörhead. The recordings date from 1975 to 1976, but the album was not released until December 1979.

The four songs date from September 1975, when they were recorded at Rockfield Studios in Monmouth, Wales; the others were recorded in December 1975 to February 1976 at the same location.

The album was originally scheduled to be released in 1976, but the label was unsure of the album' s commercial potential and decided not to release it.

The following year, the band released the album Motörhead, and On Parole did not record until 1979. These are the group' s only recordings featuring its original line-up.
