Muk Petr: Together (Duets 1995-2013) - CD

The collection of duets by Petr Muk offers the best known, less known and never before released duets. In addition to songs with the great Johanka Lucia Bílá, close friend Bára Basiková, stage and television colleagues Helena Vondráčková and Iveta Bartosová, the highly respected Karel Gotts, Czech-Budejovice contender Petr Kolář, federal friend Peter Nagy and theatre partners Kamil Střihavka or Bohus Josef, there is a Bratislava studio assistant to a singer named Nastia, in English and with a Shalom and Sting vibe. In the new version for two voices you will also hear a remake of the great 80' hit by Laco Lučenič, Hádanky tiel, this time in semi-acoustic form. A touching meeting of different generations and approaches to singing is the ballad Bon soir mademoiselle Paris with original interpreter Jan A. Pacak.
The celebration of Peter's hit parade "You Dance Alone" is a chance taken for two wonderful tenors, with a very different Karel Cernoch. Producer and co-writer Luděk Fiala then added a bonus remix of this year's song Together, one of the strongest on Peter's last album V bludišti dni.
The CD Together brings duets with a variety of styles, connected by the moment of surprise, the attractiveness of the subjects and the personalities of the colleagues. Sure it's not the complete Petr Muk, sure it's not all of his musical partners, but it's a pretty complete piece of his singing legacy. We can all admire Peter at different stages of the creature-by, but for a complete view of his life and career, none of the chapters of this song-novel can be omitted.
