Mum’s little darling

Sarah Flint

The author writes under a pseudonym, which she adopted because of her past in the Metropolitan Police, where she built a successful career for thirty-five years. Her life was thus full of victims, criminals, and police officers, who now also appear in her literary works. She is best known in our country for her Charlotte Stafford series. Police work became her calling. In the meantime, however, she spent years trying to make it as a writer, and when she received a contract from her publisher, she decided to end her police career and devote herself to writing full-time. In her stories, she draws on many real cases that she helped solve during her service. Besides her love of reading, Sarah also undertakes various adrenaline-fuelled activities: she has faced lions and cheetahs, dived with great white sharks, jumped from the Sky Tower in Auckland, and climbed Kilimanjaro. She lives and works in London with her partner and three daughters.
