Mushrooms

In this book, you will find around 130 species of fungi that are most commonly found and that we should be familiar with. They grow in gardens, parks and forests, meadows and fields, some even in the middle of cities. Some mushrooms are found especially near certain types of trees, which are their „ life partners“.

Other species of fungi are found on decayed wood or even on the trunks and branches of living trees. Other mushrooms will catch your eye because they look like potatoes, stars, corals or octopuses, others will be noticed because of their unpleasant smell. The more attention you pay to the surrounding nature, the more mushrooms you will discover.

The book is very clear, the beautiful colour illustrations and the division of the chapters according to the shape of the fruiting bodies will help you to identify the mushrooms. You will also get interesting information and tips for other activities.
