Mysterious Agatha

This quartet of detective stories, published in the short period between the end of World War II and 1948, is linked by its author. Július Detrich was the author of popular novels that were published both as books and in serialised editions. In addition to the title story, The Mysterious Agáta, which has a fantastical element, the book also includes the novellas A Shot in the Aldwych Theatre, The Past of Gregor Tramer, and The Secret of Elena Dvenská. The text is based on the original editions and has undergone only minimal changes.
