Mysterious Glow over the Pacific - DVD

The year is today. The location: the deck of America’s most powerful nuclear aircraft carrier, the USS Nimitz, currently on training manoeuvres in the Pacific Ocean. Suddenly, the ship is hit by an unusually powerful electrical storm, which literally engulfs the steel giant and does the impossible: the Nimitz is thrown back in time to 6 December 1941. The Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor is now only a few hours away.

As the enemy fleet closes in on Hawaii, the ship's Captain (Kirk Douglas), a Department of Defense expert (Martin Sheen), a maverick Air Wing Commander (James Farentino), and a desperate senator from the Roosevelt administration (Charles Durning) find themselves facing two unthinkable choices. Do they let the Japanese complete their murderous invasion, or do they launch a massive counterattack that will change the course of history forever?
