Mythology of the Slavs

The book is a unique attempt to reconstruct Slavic mythology and religion. Giesztor explores the pantheon of Slavic gods, the rituals associated with their worship, including the clash of Slavic religions with Christianity, which ultimately led to the transformation of pagan Slavic mythology into its post-Christian form. < br> < br> The publication of the book was supported by the City of Prague. < br> < br> The publication of the book was supported by the Polish Book Institute.
