Quid pro quo

Something for Something is a gripping novel in which the author, with remarkable insight, psychological knowledge and craftsmanship, tells the story of a crumbling marriage from the perspective of three women - a wife, a lover and a mother-in-law. You never know in advance, what form happiness takes, and that's why the book's main character, Martina, in her forties, has no idea, that tragedy, she's going through, can bring something good in the end, and possibly save the life of her 3-year-old son. All this, of course, only if three women of three different generations can find their way to each other. Among other things, the novel touches on the sensitive subject of the legacy of frozen semen. It is written in a readable, fresh form with a vivid portrayal of the different characters and their behaviour.
