Neighbourhood Watch - DVD

In the quiet suburb of the Central American town of Glenview, a crime happens. That's why one of its most active residents, Evan (Ben Stiller), who loves his town more than anything, decides to start his own militia called the Neighborhood Watch. The patrol is to keep an eye on the town and its inhabitants to ensure that no untoward element enters the town. Evan's three friends join in, though for reasons not as noble as his. Above all, Bob (Vince Vaughn) wants to escape the family stereotype, he wants to have fun and takes Neighborhood Watch as a good excuse to get out with the boys for a beer and a good time gambling. A chubby boy named Franklin (Jonah Hill) gets kicked out of school, so he decides to make his dream come true and join the police force. But they didn't take him there, explaining that he was a homicidal maniac. And so he wants to prove to everyone, and especially to the police, through the Neighbourhood Watch, what he is and what a mistake the police made by not taking him into their ranks. Jamarcus (Richard Ayoade) has just moved to Glenview. After 14 years of marriage, he happily divorced, giving him a lot of free time and not really having anything to do. He joined the Neighborhood Watch in the hope that one day a young, beautiful Asian woman would call them and he would have to rescue her and make her happy. Most members don't take Neighborhood Watch very seriously. Only Evan sees himself as the perfect moral role model for society. Unfortunately, his neighborhood doesn't share that opinion and behind his back all Glenview residents make fun of him.
But one day, something happens that wipes out the eyes of the crazy militia. During one of his patrols of the city, he encounters the nasty aliens, or aliens who want to attack our country. And from that moment on, the fate of humanity lies solely in the hands of the intrepid, fearless and inept Neighbourhood Watch. We have a lot to look forward to....
