Netrebko Anna, Vienna Philharmonic: Opera Arias / Opera Arias (Edition 2017) - CD

Russian soprano Anna Netrebko is one of the best in her field today, as she proves at prestigious world festivals and concert halls. Conductor Valery Gergiev and the stage of the Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg were at the birth of her career, but today she is already a world citizen. Her singing skills are absolutely phenomenal today, because, like Maria Callas, she can suggest such different works as Don Giovanni, Manon, Lucia di Lammermoor or Rusalka. Although the Czech listener will be extremely interested in her debut album at Deutsche Grammophon, she will be extremely interested in the beautifully sung famous moon aria Rusalka in the original, but her technically perfect radiant voice will also attract attention in other opuses. Foreign critics write about her as the successor of Marie Callas.
