Neurology for study and practice

The book has two parts – general and special neurology. General neurology summarises the essential information about the nervous system from pre-clinical fields relevant to clinical practice. It also covers basic paraclinical (auxiliary) examinations, the knowledge of which is essential from the clinical neurologist's point of view.

Special neurology is classically structured according to nosological units, with an effort to maintain a logical and clear arrangement. The characteristic introduces the basic issues, and the definition defines the disease unit. This is followed by aetiology, pathogenesis, clinical symptoms, important auxiliary examinations, differential diagnosis, and therapy.
