New Order: Confusion - LP

As part of a reissue campaign, four twelve-inch singles from the British post-punk and new wave group New Order are now available. One of them is Confusion from 1983. It held catalogue number 93 on the Factory label, which is also featured on its cover. The recording has been newly remastered for this release.

One of the most pivotal bands in British music history, New Order was formed in 1980 by the remaining members of the legendary Joy Division after the death of singer Ian Curtis. New Order initially combined post-punk with electronica, later experimenting mainly with what modern technology had to offer. Their 1983 hit Blue Monday remains the best-selling twelve-inch single of all time.
