Illegal wars
Daniele Ganser specialises in post-1945 history and international politics and is one of the most important social critics and analysts in Europe. His focus is on peace, geostrategy, the waging of covert wars, the struggle for raw material resources and economic policy. He is the founder and director of the Swiss Institute for Peace and Energy Research (SIPER) in Basel.
Through his publications and media appearances, he encourages the general public to think more about the state of the world and not be influenced by the distorted messages of the mainstream media.
In his latest publication, he focuses on NATO's activities, which are completely contrary to the original focus of the 1945 UN Charter, according to which war may only be waged by the country that is attacked, and war against a state may only be waged with a UN mandate.
For more than 70 years, wars have been waged which do not have this mandate at all, are therefore illegal, a crime against humanity, an aggression promoted by the interests of certain power groups. Ganser inexorably reveals the actual background of these desired escalations of conflict.
