Nightfall

At dusk on a Long Island beach, Bob Mitchell and Janet Whitney indulge in amorous pleasures, filming everything on a camera built to capture every titillating detail. But suddenly the night sky is lit up by a huge explosion. As the police cars rush to the scene, the pair grab the camera and disappear. Five years after the accident, the crash of Flight 800 is attributed to a mechanical failure. For John Corey and Kate Mayfield of the FBI's elite counterterrorism unit, however, the case is not closed. Suspecting a cover-up effort coming from the highest circles and against orders, they decide to obtain evidence that will reveal the truth about what really happened to Flight 0800 - a videotape capturing the beach romps and final moments of the doomed plane.
