Novotny David, Somr Josef: Andel's Ashes - MP3-CD

"When I tell people, what the book is about, I usually say, it's about an Irish family and an Irish father, who drinks, and that a lot of people die of various diseases in it and it's really fun. " Radio recording from 1996. An account of the incredibly difficult but congenial life of an Irish family, it tells not only of life's twists and turns and stereotypes, but also of the period atmosphere of the 1930s and 1940s.

This autobiographical confession is a compelling testament to the pure Irish character, written with
deep feeling and great stylistic art.
