The 2nd edition of the Czech textbook of nursing, which concentrates the necessary information in a comprehensive and up-to-date version. Unlike this book, most books on nursing are specific in their focus, i.e. they focus on only one or two areas.

This publication covers all the topics that are necessary to master the study requirements – from the history of nursing to the role of nurses and their professional organisation. The textbook is intended for students of Bc. and Mgr. general nurse, midwife and general medicine, and for students of medical disciplines where the subject of nursing is part of their studies.
