Of mice and men

George and Lennie travel together for work from one California ranch to another. Although it's the 1930s and the poor farm worker shouldn't expect too much from life, they make dreams and plans to buy a small farm with the money they save. George the shrewd will be in charge of all the essentials, and Lennie the weak-willed thunderer will keep the rabbits. When they meet Candy, a cripple who wants to join them on the farm, it seems they are only a step away from real life. However, lean times awaken the better in few, and no one should expect a helping hand on the way out of the bottom... A poetic novella about the power of friendship, now a classic work of world literature, is published in a masterful performance by Vladislav Beneš.
