Oldboy - DVD

DVD Film - 15 years in prison. Five days of revenge. Dae-su's kidnapping takes place right in front of his house, where he has been living peacefully with his family. Somewhere in a strange house arrest, he learns from the television that his wife has been brutally murdered and that he is suspected of the murder. He spends fifteen years in a dark room before waking up one day, just as unexpectedly, in freedom. From that moment on, he sets his sights on revenge against his unknown captor. With the help of the young Mido, he finds him, but the man in question gradually convicts him of an old guilt. The intricate drama is full of suspense and mystery, but in the director's words, it is above all a reflection on revenge and the desire that everyone experiences but few realise because society condemns it as negative and destructive.
