Olga Scheinpflug: I was in the world

Olga Scheinpflugová (1902-1968) recalls the personalities of Czech theatre as actors and directors in her distinctively composed memoirs. With most of them she was not only connected by professional ties, but also by bonds of friendship. Woven into these memories are reflections on the meaning and mission of acting, contemplations on his relationship with Karel Čapek, and experiences from the Second World War and the years that followed.
