Oliverova dálka: Magi Jidaki - CD

Alternative band Oliver's Dálka (Nymburk, /Poděbrady) was active in 1994 - 2001 /and before that as the band Práva navel), returned to the scene in 2015

Magi Jidaki (which is the name for didgeridoo in various languages) was filmed in late 2021/22 and here it is. Sophisticated, "soft" underground, spiced with poetry mostly from the pen of leader Lukáš Trejbal, brings 11 pieces of more or less hypnotic melodies, but the darkness of the earlier opuses is fading slightly, today we can talk more about rock cut with psychadelia. But Oliver's range actually extends from 80's "andros" references to traditional rock, from alternative and indie approaches to punk or reggae, with more fragile themes, but all the more powerful melodies! And for example "Wig" is nothing but a regular hit. And I believe that with the band's versatility, everyone will find their hit.
