On the Edge of Tomorrow - Blu-ray

Live. Fight. To die. To experience again.

The story is set in the future, when humanity is fighting to save itself. The Mimics, an alien civilization that no modern-day army can defeat, are relentlessly attacking planet Earth, turning major cities into piles of rubble and leaving millions of human casualties in their wake. Lieutenant Colonel William Cage (Tom Cruise), is sent on a suicide mission and, as expected, dies quite quickly.

But he finds himself in a time loop, and so he fights and dies in the same battle over and over again. Though it seems impossible, he wakes up again at the beginning of the same day in hell and is forced to fight and die again. and so on and so on. Direct physical contact with the alien has put him in this situation and he is doomed to experience the fierce battle over and over again.
However, with each successive attempt, his resilience and agility increases, and he is able to put his growing abilities to better use in combat with Mimics. Fighting alongside him is Special Forces member Rita Vrataski (Emily Blunt), who has taken out more Mimics than any other warrior on Earth. Each new battle is an opportunity for Cage and Rita to find a way to finally defeat the alien invaders and save Earth.
