Operation of reserved technical equipment

This publication will guide you through the new Act No. 250/2021 Coll. on work safety in connection with the operation of specified technical equipment, which replaces Act No. 174/1968 Coll. Effective from 1 July 2022, this new legislation introduces fundamental changes after 54 years to the perspective and approach towards the operation of technical equipment, which continues to include electrical, gas, pressure, and lifting equipment. The aforementioned Act primarily regulates the care of specified technical equipment, its commissioning, and the process of its inspections, maintenance, and revisions. For the correct interpretation of the Act, individual government decrees are of course included, supplemented by the author's practical commentaries.
