Ora Rita: Phoenix - CD

The singer's second album was preceded by the singles Anywhere, Your Song, Girls and Let You Love Me. A number of well-known producers and writers contributed to the record, including Ed Sheeran, Avicii, Benny Blanco, Steve Mac and Cashmere Cat. Guest artists include singers Charli XCX, Cardi B, Bebe Rexha and Julia Michaels, singer Liam Payne, and the group Rudimental. In addition to the standard CD version, Deluxe editions and a 2LP version with four bonus tracks are also being released.

Rita Ora is originally from Kosovo but lives permanently in England, where she moved with her family as a young child. She started singing in her father's bar and later featured on tracks by Craig David and James Morrison. She signed a contract with the American label Roc Nation and appeared in the music videos for Young Forever (Jay Z) and Over (Drake). In 2012, producer DJ Fresh introduced her to the big time as a vocalist, for whom she sang the hit Hot Right Now. The single reached number 1 in the UK and catapulted Rita into the centre of public attention. Her first single, R.I.P., featured the star Tinie Tempah. The singer conquered the top of the UK singles chart with R.I.P., as she did with the follow-up hit How We Do (Party). 2012 was a pivotal year for the singer. During it, she climbed to number one in the UK singles chart three times, released her debut album Ora, supported Coldplay on their Mylo Xyloto Tour and received three nominations at the MTV Europe Music Awards. In 2016, after long-standing disagreements, Rita Ora terminated her recording contract with Roc Nation and signed with the Atlantic label. She is one of the most popular singers, not just in the digital world.
